The Iceberg Agenda

Picture
This book focuses upon the core elements of successful organisational change and concentrates upon the interaction of corporate culture and the process of leading effective change. The themes within the book are strongly behavioural in nature and are founded upon the belief that 'without Leadership there is no change.' Much of this book has come about from practical and effective consultancy interventions in many businesses since the publication of my second book 'Creating Culture Change'. This book builds upon Creating Culture Change to the next stage of change, which is implementing effective best practise, faster than the competition. Therefore, a major theme is speed of implementation. The book is directed towards dealing with the key issues that Leaders in industry and commerce will have to confront in order to stay ahead of their competitors in the next 10 years. Much of what is written is challenging by its very nature and will require managers to reappraise their contribution and commitment to driving change - for change starts with self. What follows in the chapters ahead will provide a comprehensive guide and checklist for the manager of change who is keen on championing change.

The Target Audience for this book

Increasingly, managers are required to move beyond their technical specialism and become masters of change. The discussion of whether managers should be Leaders is exhausted and many corporations are starting to understand that they need to move their managers away from 'controlling resources' to mastering Transformations. This book is geared towards providing people at all levels with the knowledge and the motivation to use and implement the ideas within it.
