As well as being an Executive Coach and Business mentor, Philip Atkinson also provides training and development in Coaching & Mentoring.  More and more organisations are seeing the need to develop the Coaching abilities of their top teams and their direct reports.  It creates the internal capability to manage change, and the obvious benefits include not being reliant on expensive external consultants to drive change into the business.

Philip provides Business Coaching and mentoring for all variety and size of organisation.  He works closely with business owners as well as SME’s and larger ‘blue chips’.  Working with owners of small business, he can support them in growing their business. He finds that many business owners have the technical capabilities to support their Clients but they may need support in terms of confidence, motivation, innovation, influence, persuasion, and negotiation in promoting themselves and their business. He can also support  them in structuring and rehearsing sales presentations and pitching for new business.

Case Studies in Financial Services

 

Over the last few years Philip has been focusing on working in Financial services for a major Edinburgh business working in Risk and internal Audit.  He has also been Coaching Heads of Internal Audit in Public sector organisations and supporting various Professional Institutes through Regional and Branch presentations

Philip is equally at home working with a small Accountancy, Internet or Legal, IT Business as he is with senior staff in larger organisations.  His skills transcend boundaries no matter the size of the organisation and goals can be achieved much faster and easier than the traditional development and learning route.  His interventions are tailored to take the Client from where they are currently to where they want to be in terms of ‘being, doing and having’.
